We were delighted last week, when staff from two of our supporters in the Cambridge business community rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in as part of the ongoing refurbishment of the ‘Crossways’ buildings.
On Tuesday and Thursday, we were joined by enthusiastic teams from Cogentia Healthcare Consulting. Their sterling efforts made a real impact on our aim to get all the rooms and corridors painted.

We think they deserve individual recognition. So, thank you to David Alderson, James Morris, Alessandra Barreto, Hope Sheppard, Gözde Yildirim, Matias Ricci Perez, Abbey Child, Neil Davies, Evie Cooke, George Hale and Chiaodan Lee.
Volunteers from The Cambridge Building Society took advantage of the sunshine on Wednesday to give our pergola in the courtyard garden a much needed repaint.

In the afternoon, Debra Isaacson, Gemma Ashman, Kobir Rezaul, Josie Fretwell and Niamh Cubitt joined Barry, our Volunteer Coordinator, in the annex to give the corridors and rooms a lick of paint.
This was made possible by The Cambridge choosing us as one of their Community Partners and encouraging staff to make a difference via their volunteering scheme.
Please do contact us if you’d like to discuss how your business can get involved in our work supporting those experiencing homelessness in Cambridge.
