‘176’ is our new (2026) project utilising the same building as the Crossways winter emergency accommodation provision. 

Between April and October, the 176 project accommodates single homeless people owed a statutory duty by Cambridge City Council, who would otherwise be placed into bed and breakfast accommodation. This can often be located outside the city and away from peoples’ main support networks.  

Residents of 176 will enjoy support from the same experienced team that operates in the Winter. Some of those placed in 176 are former Crossways’ residents who are taking the next step on their housing journey.
