Matt, our Coordinator & Community Engagement Manager, had a lovely time at the Cambridge Building Society Team Conference, joining other Community Partners Caroline Deeprose from The Angels Foundation UK, Ros and Camille from Jimmy’s Cambridge and Donna Talbot from Emmaus Cambridge.
Matt enjoyed many great conversations with staff about our projects over lunch and during the afternoon break.
Our colleague, Keith Brockbank, also had an opportunity to speak to staff about his work supporting the Charter to End Homelessness.
As one of four Community Partners, we benefit from The Cambridge’s commitment to supporting those experiencing homelessness across the region. They do this not just through providing funding, but also by encouraging staff to volunteer via their Community Hours scheme.
Their brilliant comms team also helps to raise our profile through sharing content across their social media channels and website, invaluable for a small charity such as ours.
