A group of student organisations, alongside It Takes a City, are organising an event for students on the 16th November from 7-8.30pm at the Cambridge Students’ Union Lounge.
Many students who study and live in Cambridge will interact with rough sleepers and vulnerably housed people. People instinctively want to help, but may not know how best to support or help someone sleeping rough. At the session, we will discuss homelessness in Cambridge, what services are available and how students can help.
In addition, we will be introducing a selection of student societies who are working to fight homelessness in partnership with local charities. We will discuss ways in which collaboration can help us in our efforts to end homelessness in the city.
All welcome!
