Earlier this year, Matt and Barry visited Fawsett Primary School to speak to pupils and staff about how anybody can find themselves without a safe place to call Home. We also told them about the work It Takes A City are doing to support some of the city’s most vulnerable people.
Our central message was that you should show kindness to everybody around you.
We were delighted when the school chose to support us on a recent non-uniform day. Pupils were encouraged to bring in cupboard fillers, clothing and other items for our guests at Crossways, The Haven and those we help via our Survive & Thrive service.
