When we closed Crossways, our winter emergency accommodation project, at the end of March, there were three guests who faced a return to sleeping rough on the streets. Despite our best efforts, we had run out of options for finding them a safe place to stay.
Then one of our partners, a local church, stepped up to offer use of a property. With incredible support from the community, we managed to furnish the house with everything needed to make it feel like home.
Our Survive and Thrive staff continue to provide support with deliveries of food, other essentials and regular welfare visits.
