It takes a City (ITAC) are recruiting a Projects Worker. This is a 20 hour a week post (hours by mutual agreement) on a 12 month contract with the possibility of further extensions (dependent on funding). The post will initially be working as part of the support staff team at our Crossways emergency winter provision in Chesterton, which is open from 1st November to 31st March. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks including providing support to guests, housekeeping and administrative work.
When Crossways closes the role will be part based at a central Cambridge location, with some home and off-site work, working closely with our Support Services Manager providing floating support, under a “Survive and Thrive” service, to individuals that have moved to self-contained or small shared accommodation (predominantly ex-guests of the winter provision). Similar support will also be provided to the residents in the 4 modular homes that ITAC will be managing in 2024 on behalf of the ITAC Community Land Trust.
